Can one person drink at every bar in San Francisco?

KoKo Cocktails – Tenderloin

I had planned on hitting at least three bars at a time, but somehow I was talked into having enough drinks at KoKo tonight to make that impossible. Normally I abhore dive bars that have been renovated, but KoKo Cocktails is the one exception. The owners, formerly of the Tunnel Top, took over a crappy bar and made it pretty damn amazing. The space is cozy with uber dark lighting and prohibition era cocktails that kick one’s ass in the most beautiful way.

Every other Saturday is Bingo night! With Dab-o-Ink, the country’s most popular daubers!

KoKo Cocktails is conveniently located at the 38 Geary bus stop.

Michael, a happy Bingo winner.

I, however, never have luck at Bingo.

I love KoKo’s! Great place to start but, as you experienced, very hard to leave once you get there. Very good classic cocktails at reasonable prices compared to what you’ll pay at B&B or Rickhouse.

Also, good luck in your quest. I, like I’m sure others have done, once discussed taking on the task of drinking at every bar in SF but never really went for it.
